A review hearing is scheduled for today for a Glen Campbell man who was convicted on charges of statutory sexual assault.
This will go over a request for house arrest for Andrew John Komlosky, Jr. In August of last year, he pleaded “no contest” to charges of statutory sexual assault and indecent assault of someone under 13. The incidents dated back to January of 1997. Last January, he was ordered to serve six months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and two years of probation upon his release. Earlier this year, he was denied on a request for an early release.
Also on the court schedule today is the sentencing hearing for Vernon Hazlett III of Penn Run. He pleaded guilty to a charge of propulsion of an item into an oncoming vehicle. Five other charges, including scattering rubbish, possession of an instrument of crime and others were not prosecuted.
