The Altoona Curve fell to the Reading Fighting Phils 6-2 Friday night at PNG Field, marking their third loss in a row.
Reading scored three runs in both of the first two innings against Curve starter Blake Townshend as part of a 14-hit night for the Phils. Nick Cimillo had an RBI in the fourth inning. The other Altoona run came in the sixth, when Omar Alfonzo hit an RBI double to score Cimillo.
The two teams play again tonight. Antwone Kelly will start for the Curve.
