One person was hurt in a crash in White Township on Saturday.
State Police were called to the intersection of Oakland Avenue near Regency Square at 1:11 PM. Troopers say 68-year-old Mary Ann Amudson of Punxsutawney had stopped her car to turn left into Regency Square but did not properly clear the roadway as a car driven by 57-year-old Lewis Smith of Lucernemines went through the green light and hit her car on the driver’s side. Both vehicles took on moderate damage.
Amudson and a passenger in Smith’s vehicle were not hurt. EMT’s tried to treat Smith on-scene but he refused transportation to IRMC.
