Lou Ann (Gould) Sherba, 69, of Blairsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at home.
The daughter of Jack W. and Lois A. (Ankney) Gould, she was born on September 22, 1955, in Latrobe, PA.
Lou Ann was a graduate of Blairsville High School, Class of 1973 and was a member of the Blairsville United Presbyterian Church.
She was an avid Steelers fan and a lifelong dog lover.
Lou Ann worked as a laborer at Precision Wire Company and Tijon Company.
She is survived by her son, Cory Leigey of Indiana; brother, Dennis Gould (Nancy) of Blairsville; sister, Brenda Mahoney (Peter) of Mayfield Heights, OH; a special friend, Matt Garmon of Blairsville; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Patrick.
Lou Ann is preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville PA on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a funeral service at 7:00 PM, with Pastor John Manon officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA.
