At the Indiana Country Club Thursday night, five local entrepreneurs were inducted into the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce’s 10th Annual Business Hall of Fame.
The inductees included:
“Pete” Stewart of Pete Stewart & Sons Auctioneers
John B. McCormick, an inventor from Smicksburg
Robert Walbeck Jr. of Walbeck Insurance
Bernard Brunz, a local restaurateur
Founder of Environmental Service Labs Elizabeth Gregg
and Philanthropist Ellen Ruddock
Chamber of Commerce President Mark Hilliard talked about why this event is so important for the community.
When asked what she attributed her success to, Ruddock said that all it came down to hard work.
With heartfelt speeches and well-earned recognition, the evening served as both a celebration of past accomplishments and an inspiration for what lies ahead.
