An Indiana County woman will serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Sweden
Christine Toretti, Chairwoman and CEO of S.W. Jack Drilling Company, was originally nominated to the post by President Donald Trump in January of this year and was one of 48 nominations approved by the U.S. Senate last night. She was nominated by President Trump in 2018 to serve as the ambassador to Malta, but the Senate never confirmed her and returned her nomination in 2019 and 2020.
