The Altoona Curve’s season came to an end last night in the Eastern League Southwest finals with a 3-1 loss to the Erie Seawolves.
Nick Cimillo doubled in Konnor Griffin in the top of the first inning for Altoona’s only run in the deciding game. Erie scored once in the bottom of the first and took the lead on a double from Thayron Liranzo in the fourth. That was followed by a line-drive single by Ben Malgeri that scored Liranzo.
Altoona will start next season April 2nd of 2026 against the Harrisburg Senators.
