Irene B. (Morris) Husoskey, 99 of Indiana, died at her home on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Born in NuMine, PA on August 9, 1926, she was the daughter of George Morris and Anna (Beely) Morris. She was the widow of George Husoskey who died in 1998.
She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Ernest. Irene worked in housekeeping at IUP for more than 20 years and volunteered with Meals on Wheels in the Pittsburgh area. She liked working on the family farm, especially mowing the grass. In her spare time Irene enjoyed quilting and crafting.
She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: George Morris, Jr.; Victor Morris; John Morris; Anna Morris Chauby; Mary Morris Butchkoski and Margaret Morris McElwaine.
Friends will be received Tuesday, September 30th from 4:00 to7:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, 965 Phila. St., Indiana. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Ernest. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
