A Derry man was sentenced yesterday on charges of indecent assault.
Court documents show 63-year-old John Hebenthal was ordered to serve up to a day less than two years in a state prison, and eight years of probation upon his release from prison. He pleaded guilty to all the counts he faced, including indecent assault of someone under 13, indecent assault of someone under 16, corruption of minors, and child endangerment.
The charges go back to incidents in March of 2022.
