An Indiana elementary school will hold dedication ceremonies today as it continues its first year back in operation.
The event is scheduled for this afternoon at Eisenhower elementary school. In 2021, modular classrooms on the property burned in a fire that also damaged the main school building. That forced students to attend classes at Horace Mann Elementary and the Junior High School as the district rebuilt the facility. The school officially reopened to students last August, and an open house was also held to allow members of the public to get a look at the new and restored facilities. Today’s ceremonies will allow those attending Eisenhower a chance to be a part of the school’s reopening.
We’ll have live coverage of today’s events on our WCCS Facebook Page.
