A setback for Pitt basketball and coach Jeff Capel. The Panthers say transfer center Dishon Jackson is out indefinitely due to an unspecified medical condition. In a statement released through Pitt, Jackson said he’s been dealing with the injury for years and his family and support system has always gotten him through it. He says he is “focused on getting back to full health.”
Jackson is a 6-11 center set to play his sixth and final year of eligibility at Pitt after transferring from Iowa State. He’s previously played at Washington State and Charlotte.
