State Troopers are investigating a “serious police incident” in Marion Center.
The Marion Center fire department around 7:00 PM issued a notification from State Police asking people in the Dixonville/Marion Center area to shelter-in-place. That was lifted around 8:20 PM. Marion Center firefighters were asked to assist state police with the call at 5:39 PM.
Details on the incident are expected to be released “at an appropriate time” according to State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Cliff Greenfield. He did say that there was no active threat to the community.
