UPDATE
At a press conference Monday afternoon, state troopers provided more information about a stabbing incident that happened in Burrell Township on Sunday evening.
State police have charged 36-year-old Jessica Lynn Morelli of Blairsville with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime for the incident Sunday night. As Troopers from the Indiana Barracks were busy in Grant Township, authorities from the Troop A Kiski barracks and Blairsville police were sent out to a home on Pender Avenue for a reported stabbing. They found Morelli and her victim, identified only as a 66-year-old adult male, at the home where the two were living.

Morelli was taken into custody without incident. She is now in Indiana County Jail to await her preliminary arraignment.
District Attorney Robert Manzi talked about how the investigation is being handled.
In reference to both this incident, and the officer involved shooting in Grant Township that happened at the same time, Manzi said the work is far from over.
