The White Township Planning Commission met for their planning meeting yesterday and discussed the potential future of the Rustic Lodge/Roseanne’s site.
The commission was presented with a sketch plan of the site along Oakland Avenue that has seen a lot of tree and brush clearing as of late. The plans were presented by the property’s owner, Joe Lubold. Both Rustic Lodge and Roseanne’s Everyday Gourmet closed in 2022, and the properties have sat vacant. In recent months, many of the large trees on the property were removed, and brush has been burned off, but the buildings remain on site.
Township manager Chris Anderson said the future plans of the property are not known right now, but he did detail what was on the plan.
The sketch plan submitted yesterday morning is unofficial, but it will be brought up for discussion at the planning commission voting meeting next Tuesday.
