From the US National Weather Service
The coastal low/nor’easter you may have heard about riding up the East Coast this weekend will bring a little, but not a lot, of rain and breezy wind to our area. A few unrelated light showers are possible this morning north of Pittsburgh as a weak cold front passes, then light showers are possible on and off late tonight through Monday morning associated with the coastal low.
Most rain will stay east of our area (in areas like Indiana County), so there will be a cutoff across our area of those (east) who see a little rain, and those (west) who receive no rain. This map shows the probability of a tenth of an inch or more of rain through Monday. You can see the sharp cutoff from east to west.
Long story, short? Don’t expect much rain this weekend..
