JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL
The Indiana Junior High Football team lost their final game of the season, 20-16 to Yough.
After falling behind 20-0 at halftime, the Indians got a 4-yard touchdown run by Gage Jones, with Michael Carnovale tossing the two-point conversion pass to Ben Steve. Anakan Powell then turned a 47-yard catch-and-run touchdown off a pass from Carovale, with Jones scoring the conversion on the ground. Dustin Manna forced a fumble and Jah’Bi Garrick recovered it for the Indians, who finished the season with a 4-3 record.
CROSS COUNTRY
The Heritage Conference Cross Country Championships are today on the Portage course. The races happen at the Maple Crest Golf Course.
