Gusty wind and rain will be the story for Sunday. Maximum gusts will range between 30-45 mph, but there may be period of stronger gusts along a narrow line of showers/storms this afternoon. Make sure to tie down any loose outdoor objects.
Here is the approximate timing of when wind gusts of 40-50 MPH may arrive with a line of gusty showers. There is still modest potential for stronger wind gusts of 60 MPH – warnings will be issued if those gusts are likely. Secure or bring inside anything that could blow around!
