More closures are expected to start today in the area of 422 in White Township.
PennDOT says that starting today and going through Friday, the Route 422 Eastbound on-ramp from Business Route 422 and the on-ramp to Route 422 westbound will be closed. This is to facilitate repairs being done by Derry Construction out of Latrobe.
To take the detour, drivers should get on to Business Route 422, turn right onto Indian Springs Road (Ben Franklin Road), turn right onto Route 286, and take the Route 422/Route 56 Kittanning/Shelocta exit onto Route 422 westbound.
The entire project is expected to wrap up by the end of the year.
