State police have filed charges against an Indiana man for a stabbing that happened Monday in White Township.
The incident was reported in the evening hours of October 20th in the 2000 block of Byron Court. While details on the incident have not yet been released, State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Cliff Greenfield confirmed that their main suspect, 23-year-old Joel Anthonio Hyderkhan, was interviewed on Friday and charges were filed after the interview.
He faces two counts of aggravated assault-attempts to cause severe bodily injury and single counts of simple assault, harassment and possession of a weapon. He is now in Indiana County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled before District Judge Anthony Sottile on October 30th.
