The Steelers had a 16-7 lead at halftime and still led by five points entering the fourth quarter, but the defense gave up 21 points in the final fifteen minutes and they lost to Green Bay, 35-25. It was their second straight loss, and they have games against two of the tougher teams in the NFL coming up, 7-1 Indianapolis at home on Sunday and the 5-3 Chargers in Los Angeles in two weeks.
Jordan Love threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns and tight end Tucker Kraft caught seven passes and scored twice as the Packers completed their comeback against a helpless Steelers defense. Green Bay stacked up 454 yards of total offense

The injury report wasn’t good. Strong safety DeShon Elliott and defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale both went down with what appeared to be serious knee injuries and offensive guard Isaac Seumalo left the game with what Tomlin described as a pectoral muscle “strain” in the third quarter.
The Steelers’ still lead the AFC North with a 4-3 record. The second-place Bengals are 3-5 after being upset by the Jets, 39-38. The Ravens are 2-5 after a 30-16 win over the Bears. The Browns were beaten by the Patriots, 32-13 to fall to 2-6.

Former New York Jets center Nick Mangold died Saturday at the age of 41, just eleven days after making an appeal on social media for a donor kidney. He posted that a genetic defect led to his kidney disease and no one in his family was able to donate a kidney. Mangold played eleven seasons with the Jets after they drafted him in the first round in 2006. He made seven Pro Bowls and three times was named All-Pro.
