Troopers are investigating the theft of about $5,000 worth of copper wire in Banks Township.
Police say someone cut and stole roughly 200 feet of Verizon communication wire along State Route 286 around 5:00 p.m. on October 15. The stolen 300-pair copper lines were valued at approximately $5,000.
