The Indiana Elks Lodge has made two donations to benefit Renda Media’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive and Seeds of Faith Christian Academy.
Both entities will receive $600 from the fundraising work of the Elks Lodge #931. Elks Grand Exalted Ruler Marie Phillips said that they were happy to make the donations to two groups that benefit children as part of the five-to-ten-thousand dollars a month. She said that it is the strength of the members that make the fundraisers a success.
Seeds of Faith board member Steve Boring said that this will be part of a fundraising campaign where an anonymous donor will match donations up to $1000. He said the money will go to help those who may not be financially able to attend.
The Seeds of Faith matching fundraiser will run through the end of December.
