Six fire companies were called out for a fire in Rochester Mills yesterday.
Indiana County 911 reported that Marion Center, Plumville, Rossiter, Perry Township, Rural Valley and Dayton fire departments along with the county Rapid Intervention Team and Citizen’s Ambulance were sent at 12:22 yesterday a property on Behm Road for the reported structure fire. Glen Campbell, Clymer and Creekside fire departments were called in shortly after the initial call to standby for Rossiter, Marion Center and Plumville fire departments respectively.
No word on the extent of the damage from the fire or if anyone was hurt.
Three vehicle accidents were also reported in the last 24 hours. One accident was reported at 10:56 PM on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township that brought the Armagh Fire Department and Citizen’s Ambulance to the scene. The second was at 2:14 this morning on East Market Street in Blairsville Borough. Blairsville and Black Lick fire companies were sent out at the time. The third was on Route 286 in Green Township at 3:31 this morning. Commodore firefighters and state police were sent out.
