Five graduates of Indiana University of Pennsylvania have been recognized with the 2025 IUP Young Alumni Achievement Award.
The award honors recent IUP graduates who have made outstanding achievements early in their careers. It’s open to alumni who earned their degrees within the past 15 years and are selected by the deans of their respective colleges.
Recipients returned to campus earlier this month for an awards ceremony and to speak with current students about their professional experiences.
This year’s honorees include Ray Edwards, a 2011 business graduate now serving as Director of Retail Media Data Engineering at The Home Depot; Dr. Byron McClure, a 2016 education graduate and CEO of School Psych AI; Dr. Luke Piper, a 2015 science graduate and psychiatrist with UPMC; Dr. Angelica Terepka, a 2016 psychology graduate and director of psychology at Elmhurst Hospital in New York; and Cykhira Walton, a 2015 criminology graduate who serves as a senior policy advisor in Philadelphia.
In celebration of IUP’s 150th anniversary, several past award recipients also returned to campus to take part in this year’s ceremony.
