The Indiana Area School District is warning residents of a scam that is making the rounds in the area.
The district posted on its Facebook page warning people that somebody posing as a representative at School Sponsorship by MobyMax is soliciting donations on behalf of the Indiana Area School District. The urge that the district is not working with School Sponsorship by MobyMax, therefore any requests from that organization on behalf of Indiana Area School District are not legitimate.
The district adds that if you receive an email from glennwillett@schoolsponsoringregionys.com or any similar request, you should delete the message.
