A trailer was destroyed by a fire last night in Cherry Tree Borough, and crews were back on the scene again this morning.
There were no reported injuries and no one was home for the fire at a trailer on Clarion Road. The first call went out at 8:27 last night and brought Cherry Tree, Commodore, Hope and Glenn Campbell fire departments along with Citizens’ Ambulance and Cherry Tree Police. Officials say the trailer was fully involved when they arrived. The fire was knocked down within a half-hour, and crews remained on scene for an extensive overhaul of the property.
The fire rekindled this morning at 5:30, and crews were on scene for an hour, and officials said that it was once again well involved. The State Police Fire Marshals have been called in to investigate.
