Firefighters from Cherry Tree Fire Department were sent out a third time in 24 hours for the fire that destroyed a trailer.
The initial fire was reported at 8:27 PM Sunday night and brought out multiple fire departments to a trailer home on Clarion Road. No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported. The trailer was deemed a total loss, but fire officials did not have any word on the cause. Fire marshals from the state police were sent out to make an investigation.
Cherry Tree firefighters returned to the scene twice yesterday. The first was at 5:30 in the morning and the second was at 11:41 AM. Indiana County 911 reported the fire had rekindled both times. Officials said that on the first rekindle, the structure was fully involved once again.
