At least one person was killed in a fire this morning in Clymer.
Indiana County 911 sent the Clymer, Cherryhill Township, Commodore and Hope fire departments along with the county Emergency Management team and Citizen’s Ambulance to a multi-family home on 420 Hancock Street at 4:14 AM. The building is considered a total loss. Details on injuries and fatalities have not been released, but fire officials confirmed that Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. was called to the scene. State police fire marshals have been called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
Marion Center firefighters were sent to the Clymer fire hall an hour later for standby detail.
