The Steelers yesterday announced head coach Mike McCarthy’s coaching staff, adding one more name and also officially naming Frank Cignetti Jr., which they had not previously done.
Cignetti, who most recently was IUP’s offensive coordinator last season, is listed as a “senior offensive assistant.” He was McCarthy’s – and Aaron Rodgers’ – quarterbacks coach at Green Bay in 2018.
The new name revealed yesterday was tight ends coach Robert Kugler, the son of former Steelers offensive line coach Sean Kugler. Robert Kugler was an assistant offensive line coach with the Patriots last season. He’s also coached with the Panthers and Texans.
