The National Weather Service has put another advisory in place, but this time, it concerns water.
A flood watch is in place starting at 1:00 today and running through 1:00 tomorrow afternoon for Indiana, Westmoreland, Jefferson and Armstrong Counties. Excessive runoff from rain that’s expected later today and tomorrow could result in the flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas.
Those living in flood-prone areas should be ready to take action in case flooding develops, and people are advised to monitor later forecasts. We’ll have the latest from AccuWeather throughout the day on the air and on our website.
