Karen Lee (Rudin) Catanzaro, 76 of Indiana, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Walter Rudin and Virginia (Holscher) Rudin.
A graduate of Baldwin High School, she was a retired senior buyer/purchaser for All-Pak Inc. Karen enjoyed crocheting for cancer patients, sewing, tending to her gardens and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Matthew J. Catanzaro and his wife, Brenda L. Kromer-Catanzaro of Indiana. Karen is sadly missed by her granddaughters: Moriah B. Kromer & her husband, Michael Perry; and Victoria R. Catanzaro. Other surviving family members include her brother, Walter “Buddy” Rudin and his wife, Anita of Pensacola, FL.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene W. Bronder.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, February 21st from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, 965 Philadelphia St., Indiana, at which time a prayer service will take place with pastor Dick Motzing.
