The Homer-Center boys and girls swim wrapped up competition yesterday in the two-day District 6 Swimming and Diving Championships at Penn State, with the Wildcats’ boys placing third overall and the girls finishing eighth.
For the boys, Trevor Cameron was second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 100 backstroke. Landon Shoup finished third in the 200 individual medley and fourth in the 500 freestyle. Brady Frazer was fourth in the 200 freestyle and third in the 100 breaststroke. In the relay races, Frazer, Shoup, Cameron, and Blake Lucas were both second in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay.
On the girls’ side, senior Morgan Nagy raced to runner-up finishes in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. Maria Frazer finished sixth in both the 200 and 500 freestyles, and the relay team of Nagy, Frazer, Natalia Thomas, and Andrea Kravestky finished eighth in the 200 medley and seventh in the 400 freestyle.
