A trip to Hershey for the state championship is on the line tonight for the United Lions as they journey to Penns Valley High School to meet Old Forge in the PIAA boys Double-A semifinal.
United coach Matt Rodkey is confident that his team can handle the pressure.
Joe Baress covers Old Forge for the Scranton Times-Tribune. He says the Blue Devils showed some grit on Saturday when they lost point guard Ryan DeMarco to a serious leg injury, and still rallied to beat Delone Catholic.
District 6 champion United is 30-0 and is the last undefeated team in Pennsylvania. District 2 champ Old Forge is 21-6.
We’re on the air at 6 o’clock, tipping off at 7 on Renda Digital TV tonight.
