Richard P. Leone, Jr. 54, of Smicksburg, died Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1971, in Pittsburgh, a son of Linda (Ryan) and the late Richard P. Leone, Sr.
On July 30, 1994, he married Robin L. (Wagner) Leone, who survives.
Richard was a graduate of Penn Hills High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flea markets, and auctions, but most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. He was very sociable and could make a friend anywhere. Richard was always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever it may be.
He was a former member of the Penn Hills #6 Fire Department and has worked in the Gas and Oil industry for the last eighteen years.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four children, son Michael Leone of Smicksburg, daughter Dakota Leone and partner Josh Neese of Smicksburg, daughter Sierra Leone and boyfriend Joseph Woy of Somerset, and son Nicholas Leone and wife Rachel of Greensburg; fourteen grandchildren; his best friend Bill Kastner, Jr.; and several immediate family members.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Carl Scherrah, Uncle Bill Kastner, Sr., Aunt Lois Kastner, Uncle James Ryan, and grandparents Will and Donna Ryan.
There will be no services held for Richard per his request.
