A Blairsville man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for public drunkenness and a prior warrant.
Police were sent out just after 4:00 PM to the intersection of South East Lane and East Iron Alley for a man found lying in a parking lot. The suspect was identified as 62-year-old Steven Taylor and discovered he was in an intoxicated state. Further investigation showed that he was wanted on a warrant for public drunkenness for a case back in November of last year.
He was incarcerated in Indiana County Jail on the warrant and now faces summary charges connected with yesterday’s incident.
