Linda Ann (Jobe) Nipps, 79 of Indiana, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Lynn
Haven Personal Care Home, Black Lick. Born in Indiana, July 23, 1946, she was the daughter of
the late Robert C. Jobe and Lois Lee (Raybould) Jobe.
She was a graduate of Laura Lamar Joint Junior Senior High School. After receiving her
Bachelor’s degree from IUP, Linda worked for Indiana County Children and Youth Services. She
was a dedicated County Caseworker for over 23 years until she retired in 2024.
She enjoyed working outside in her flower gardens and had a special place in her heart for
animals, especially cats. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Linda is sadly remembered by her daughter Tamar Farmer, husband Will and their son River, of
Greensburg. She is also survived by her half-sister, Nancy Kensinger of Indiana, and numerous
nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Jobe, Jr.
