Robert “Bob” Lee Peak, Jr., 71, of Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 24, 2026. Best known as “GrandBob”, by his beloved Kailena, the light of his life and all who knew and loved him.
Bob was born in Indiana on February 13, 1955, to the late Robert Lee Peak, Sr., and Betty Jane (Rhoades) Peak.
He graduated from Indiana High School in 1973 and spent his career with First Commonwealth Bank retiring in December of 2020 as a Sr. Program Analyst. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his beagles, but mostly spending time with his granddaughter Kailena.
Surviving Bob is his wife Deborah Peak, whom he married on September 6, 1980, his children Jason Peak and Justin (Kristine) Peak, both of Indiana, his granddaughter Kailena Peak, sister Gloria Kessler, brother Richard Peak, brother John Rhoades, mother-in-law Margaret Rhoades, and brothers-in-law James, John, Nick, and Tony Rhoades, as well as nieces and nephews: Sequoiah, Dalton, Jessie, Dylan, Hailey, Payton, Eythan, Quinn, Walker, Jeffrey, and Jonathan.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother David Peak, father-in-law James V Rhoades, sister-in-law Sherry Kowchuck, and nephew Matthew Kowchuck.
At Bob’s family’s request, services are private and have been entrusted to the care of the Donahue Tylinski Funeral Home, Inc., (formerly Bowser Minich).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Beagle rescue in memory of Bob.
