Minor damage was reported in a fire in Indiana Borough Saturday morning.
Indiana, Homer City, Coral-Graceton and Creekside fire departments were sent out to a building at the intersection of 12th and Philadelphia Streets at 9:59 AM according to Indiana County 911. Indiana fire officials cancelled the other units en route as the fire turned out be a small fire caused by a still-hot propane torch that was set in a cabinet. A fire extinguisher was used to put the fire out, but Indiana fire crews stayed on to check the insulation for any fire spread.
No injuries were reported.
