A Baltimore man pleaded guilty to all charges connected with a stabbing in Indiana in January of this year.
Detrolen Hobbs entered the pleas to charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, burglary and possession of an instrument of crime on Friday during a scheduled criminal call appearance in Indiana County Court. Police said the 31-year-old met the victim online two months before, but on the night of January 21st, Hobbs reportedly broke into a home in the 1100 block of Oak Street and stabbed the victim, who was providing care for someone living there. Citizens Ambulance along with Indiana Borough and IUP Police promptly responded and were able to save the victim.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 1st. Indiana County DA Robert Manzi is expected to release a statement on the case later today.
