Work is underway to make repairs after the recent heavy storms that brought flooding to the area, but repairs according to officials, will take a few weeks as they have to not only get the water out but replace storage cupboards, some equipment and other items in both the social hall and kitchen. Officials say about $25,000 in damage was done thanks to the storms, and repairs could take two to three weeks.
Some events have either been postponed or moved due to the repairs to the facility. This includes this weekend’s chicken BBQ, which is being rescheduled.
