The Altoona Curve picked up their second win in a row on with a 4-1 victory over the Chesapeake Baysox.
Altoona starter Matt Ager was lights-out, going six innings and striking out five and allowing no walks, allowing only one run. The bullpen came through to limit Chesapeake’s offense with Cy Nielson tossing two scoreless innings allowing one hit and one walk with three strikeouts. Jaycob Deese in the 9th needed only 12 pitches to sit the Baysox down. Altoona’s offense though was limited to seven singles.
Altoona will send Kyle Robinson to the mound to start today’s game between the Curve and the Baysox.
