Betty Lou (Ramsey) Smith, 91, of Blairsville, PA, passed away on August 23, 2026, at her home. She was born April 17, 1935 in Greensburg, PA to the late, Louis and Lu Lu (Metzler) Ramsey.
Betty had worked at the former Faulk’s Drug Store in Blairsville and was a member of the Blairsville First Baptist Church. She served as the church treasurer for many years and taught Vacation Bible School as well. She was a devoted member of the church, having prepared many meals and helping in any way she could towards the church and its members.
She is survived by a son, David Smith & wife, Barb, State College, PA; son, Donald Smith & wife, Katie, Blairsville, PA; son, Barry Smith & wife, Wendy, Derry, PA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings: Alice Fishburn, Frank Ramsey, Louis Ramsey, Carol Ramsey, John Ramsey and Jean George.
A memorial service will be held at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, Blairsville, at a date and time to be announced later.
Interment will be in Irwin Union Cemetery, Irwin, PA.
