Esther (Rhine) Bonnoni, 86, of Homer City, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born July 7, 1940 to Raymond and Mildred (Zack) Rhine in Indiana.
She formerly attended the First Assembly of God Church. Esther loved her family. She was very well known for her rigatoni and the “goodies” she always had available for her family and friends. She loved cooking, decorating for the holidays, and her flower gardens. She was always willing to say prayers for anyone in need.
She is survived by a daughter, Patty (Jim) Silvis, Homer City, grandchildren, Jason (Mindy) Harper, Steven (Brandi) Sexton, and Adam (Tristin) Harper; Emily Silvis (Dave Coy), and Ellie Silvis; great grandchildren, Cody, Cole, Casey, Hunter, Erica, Gabi, Dawson and Everly, a sister, Twila Filler, a brother James Rhine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years, Patsy Bonnoni in 2017, a daughter Tammy Zaffuto, two grandsons, Chad Harper and Eric Sexton.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 N. Indiana, PA 15701.
