Homer-Center remains red-hot on the golf course, winning their sixth straight match to start the season, by 58 strokes over Conemaugh Township. The Wildcats set a season-low score with a 193 with ten birdies, and four players shooting under 40 on the front nine at Chestnut Ridge. Elliott Drew had four birds and only fifteen putts in his even-par round of 36, which earned him medalist honors. Reece Coy was two strokes back at 38, and Jordy Arone and Ty Steffey shot 39. Aiden Darr shot 41 and Cole Sorber 42. Homer-Center also got a 40 from alternate Noah Todd.
CT was led by Noah Hurzell’s 45 and Nick Hershberger’s 46.
Another close loss for Indiana, their third straight narrow defeat as they fell to Norwin by twelve strokes. Top golfers for Indiana were Beau Raykes, Will Steve, and Chace Force, who all shot 42. Ryan Bell shot 44 and Mason Musser 45.
