Joey Porter Jr. left Steelers practice yesterday, walking off the field with a trainer into the team facility. The team then listed him with a back injury, a day after they had declared him healthy but limited for “conditioning”.
As the Steelers prepare for their game in New England this Sunday, left tackle Troy Fautanu returned to work but was limited with an ankle injury, while receiver Michael Pittman Jr. missed the workout, with a foot injury. Cam Heyward was given the day off to rest and tight end Darnell Washington missed a second straight practice due to personal reasons.
