Karen Lea Wolfe, 60, of Marion Center, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born June 28, 1966 to Herbert Hockenberry, Bernard Gaines and Shirley Hockenberry.
Karen enjoyed reading, crafts, crocheting, quilting, scrapbooking, and watching Christmas movies year-round. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She would decorate her home to make it look like a Hallmark movie. Most of all Karen loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, John E. Wolfe, Marion Center, her mother Shirley Gaines, Philipsburg, her beloved dog, Wonder, four daughters, Barbie Harper (Shawn), Jamie Williams, Amanda Brady (Shaun), Sheena Gaines, 12 grandchildren, nine siblings, Susan Barley (Paul), Robin Rainey, Cindy Chelton (Ken), Lecia Hockenberry, Amy Quick (John), Melanie Struble (Calvin), Vicky Dick, Michelle Drost, a brother Jeff Hockenberry (Wendy), a close caregiver and niece Jessica Alspaugh (Jason), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, two sisters-in-law, Becky Wolfe, Sheri Wetzel (Richard).
Friends will be received on Monday from 3-7 PM at Gilgal Presbyterian Church, 638 Gilgal Road, Marion Center, PA 15759 and also on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Pauline Mcfarland, officiating.
Interment will follow at Gilgal Cemetery.
