A suspect in the shooting death of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City last week was apprehended this morning in Altoona.
Fox News reports that a person that matched the description of the suspect was spotted at a McDonald’s in Altoona this morning. A person at the restaurant saw the suspect as he was sitting in McDonalds and working on a laptop computer and recognized him from wanted posters. When police arrived, they found the man had on his person a gun believed to have been used in the shooting and a fake ID.
Thompson died last Wednesday after he was shot outside a hotel room in New York City.
