The Blairsville Municipal Authority has pitched in to help the fire department acquire a pickup truck.
The Blairsville fire department has been using a 1995 Chevy Brush Truck as part of their fleet of vehicles, but parts for the truck have become impossible to find and the truck has become increasingly difficult to maintain. Recognizing the problem, the municipal authority donated its 2021 Dodge Ram to the fire department. The truck has been outfitted with tools to help battle brush fires.
