Today marks day four of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive collection week in Downtown Indiana.
So far, the collection effort has brought in $10,852, which includes a $1000 donation from Senator Joe Pittman. He issued a challenge for yesterday morning to raise $1000 between 8 AM and noon. The morning session brought in $1,381 to make the challenge a success.
Volunteers will once again collect donations from 8-4 today at the intersection of 7th and Philadelphia Streets in Downtown Indiana. They will also have on offer the commemorative Teddy Bears from Luxenberg’s for a $20 donation to the fund drive.
We will be broadcasting once again from the window of The 700 Shop from 8-10 on WCCS on Indiana in the Morning, and from 10-4 on WDAD.
