The Mega Millions lottery game did not hand out it’s top prize on Christmas Eve, so the prize is rolling over to over $1 billion.
After no one matched the winning numbers, which were 11-14-38-45-46 and the mega ball of 3, the jackpot rose to $1.15 billion, still shy of the $1.602 billion prize in August of 2023. The last time the top prize was won was in September, when it hit for $810 million by a group in Sugar Land, Texas.
Four winners reportedly matched the five regular numbers, including a ticket purchased in Pennsylvania. The next drawing is scheduled for Friday, December 27th at 11:00 PM.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in over 302 million.
